Turn on the television anytime of the day or night and chances are you’ll see some commercials for home security companies.  The best known names are Brinks, ADT, and Guardian.  However, are these your only options when it comes to  burglar alarm systems.?  The answer is a quick no – log onto the internet and do a search for “home security companies” and you’ll get back a wealth of options from which to choose.  So if you want to find a company that’s right for you and your home, what do you do?  How do you know what features to look for and compare?

Most home security companies will offer twenty-four hour monitoring of your home and alarm.  This means that someone is sitting on the other side of a computer screen that will start beeping if your alarm goes off.  They will contact emergency personal to rush to your aid.  This process is pretty much the same with all home security companies.
